Malle Krunks

Dr. Malle Krunks is Research Professor of Estonian Academy of Sciences at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia. She graduated from the Tallinn University of Technology in materials chemistry and received Ph.D. degree 1985 in Physical Chemistry from Ural Polytechnical Institute, Ekaterinburg, Russia. She has been working on different positions at Tallinn University of Technology, has been visiting researcher at Helsinki University of Technology, Hannover Institute for Solar Energy and Kiel University of Applied Sciences. Dr. Krunks has authored and co-authored over 100 scientific papers in the field of thin films and powdered semiconductor materials for applications in electronics and photovoltaics. M. Krunks is a leader of national and international projects and since 2002 of Thin Film Chemistry research group at the Department of Materials Science. She received the Estonian National Science Prize in 1998. Current research interests include chemistry and technology of thin films and structured layers by wet chemical deposition techniques.
