Leonid Khriachtchev

Leonid Khriachtchev graduated from Leningrad State University in 1981. He completed his PhD study in 1986 and became a Senior Scientist in 1988 at the same University. He joined the University of Helsinki in 1994. He is the author of over 150 refereed articles and 10 inventions. His scientific interests currently include optical and laser spectroscopy of matrix-isolated species, thin solid films, and nanoscale materials.
