Dominique H.W. Hubert

Dominique H.W. HUBERT, PhD, is the director of NanoResearch Solutions, FEI Company, the Netherlands. Prior to this role Hubert held several applications, commercial and managerial positions within FEI. He holds a Masters degree in Bio-Organic and Physical Chemistry from the University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. His field of work covered synthesis and characterization of biomimetic supramolecular nanostructures. He also holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands where his field of work covered process control, physical transport phenomena and modeling of small and large scale colloidal polymer synthesis. In 1999 he received his PhD in Polymer Chemistry at the Technical University of Eindhoven concentrating on soft matter and hybrid matter nanostructures, its synthesis, production, modeling and characterization. Supramolecular nanotectonics and high resolution characterization are concurring themes in his academic work. In his present role, he is responsible for managing today’s and tomorrow’s solution portfolio for nanoscience and technology through innovative products, new methods and key strategic partnerships.
