Antti-Pekka Jauho

Professor Antti-Pekka Jauho is Professor in Theoretical Nanotechnology at DTU, Technical University of Denmark since 2003, before he worked as a Research Professor (Theoretical Semiconductor Physics) in DTU (1998-2003). He is also a Leader of Theory Group; MIC since 1992. Professor Jauho graduated from Helsinki University of Technology in 1975 and received his PhD degree 1982 in Theoretical Physics at the Cornell University. Professor Jauho has published various scientific papers and has often been invited to international conferences. He is a member of American Physical Society (APS) and Danske Fysiske Selskab (DFS) and previously Foreign Member of The Finnish Academy of Science and Letters (2003). Professor Jauho is a Distinguished Professor of the Finnish Academy (FiDiPro) 2007-2011. His research is in the field of computational nanotechnology with a focus on nanometer-scale processing and synthesis, which open new possibilities for development of electronic components and instruments.
