Toshio Suzuki is Vice President of R&D of Kuraray America, Inc (Pasadena, Texas) which he joined in August, 2008. Before that he had worked for Dow Corning Corporation (Midland, Michigan) for over 30 years. In the past 10 years, his responsibility has been discovery and incubation of technical seeds for new business development. Toshio’s interest has been in the polymers/materials area with the focus on photovoltaics, printable electronics and lighting/display materials. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in polymer chemistry from Kyoto University.
