Since 2002, Prof. Flemming Besenbacher has been Director Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO), Aarhus University. Since 2002, he has also headed up the iNANO graduate school, and from 2004, Assistant Professor Aalborg University and since 2005, he has headed up the NANOFOOD Consortium. 1997, also Visiting Professor at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, USA.
Prof. Besenbacher has been awarded numerous scientific prizes and is on the editorial teams of several scientific journals. He also has a three figure number of publications to his name in scientific journals, several patents and collaborates extensively with a series of industrial enterprises.
