Dr. Birgül Benli is currently a research assistant in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. During her research in University of Utah, she studied onto two important nano scientific components; Atomic Force Microscope, AFM and Molecular Dynamics Simulations, MDS in Polymer/Mineral Interfacial Surfaces. She conducts research activities on various aspects of surface modification, wettability, hydrophobic surfaces, surface/ interfacial phenomena, and clay added nanocomposites as well as Atomic Force Microscopy and Colloidal Probe applications.
