Dirk Pilat is Head of the Science and Technology Policy Division at the OECD Directorate for Science, Technology & Industry. He is responsible for the OECD’s Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy, which aims at the development of good policy practices in the area of science, technology and innovation. Mr. Pilat holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands.
