Anthony Kongats Chief Executive Officer, CAP-XX Ltd.

Since 1999 Anthony’s career has focused on entrepreneurship and the research, development, manufacturing and sales of electronics. Anthony founded CAP-XX in 1997 to commercialise electric double layer capacitors or supercapacitors. CAP-XX was listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM market in April 2006.

Prior to CAP-XX, he was the managing director of a manufacturer of passive components before selling the business to a competitor, and before that worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and held various engineering positions in Australia and Europe.

He has a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in engineering from the University of New South Wales, a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
