Markku Lämsä

Dr. Lämsä (b. 1962) works is in Materials Technology Unit in Tekes. He is Programme Manager of Tekes’ FinNano nanotechnology programme and Coordinator of Finnish part of the European MNT (micro- and nanotechnology) ERA-NET. Dr. Lämsä received his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physical Organic Chemistry, in 1997 from the University of Oulu, Finland. From 1998-1999 he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the research group of Prof. Fritz Vögtle in the University of Bonn, Germany. Before joining Tekes in 2002, he investigated supramolecular and nano-chemistry in the University of Oulu. Dr. Lämsä has written eleven original pre-review publications and over 30 other papers.
