Erika Györvary

Erika Györvary is a nanotechnology expert at CSEM - Centre Suisse d’Electronique de Microtechnique SA (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) since 2005. She is responsible for project acquisition and customer relations for CSEM's acitivities in the field of nanotechnology, including nanostructuring, nanoparticles, nano-bio, plasmonics and NEMS/MEMS. Before joining CSEM she worked at IMA - Integrated Microsystems Austria (Wiener Neustadt, Austria), where she had the position of a senior scientist. IMA is a development- and prototyping center for MEMS-components and MEMS-based products.
In her academic period she worked as postdoc in the Center for Ultrastructure Research, University of Agricultural Sciences (Vienna, Austria) developing functional coatings for nanotechnological applications. During her stay in Vienna she had also the opportunity to be as visiting scientist at Max Planck Institut für Polymerforschung (Mainz, Germany) and at Tyndall (Cork, Ireland).
She obtained her doctorate from Åbo Akademi University, Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Department of Physical Chemistry (Turku, Finland).
