Nano-Science Center, University of Copenhagen
|
Thomas
Bjørnholm
Director, Nano-Science Center, University of Copenhagen (Denmark) |
In September 2001 the Center was inaugurated as a joint venture between the Niels Bohr Institute and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen.
The Center has continuously developed its area of research, and today we are working closely together with the Institute of Molecular Biology and the Department of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Health.
Research at the Nano-Science Center is organized in seven different research groups:
iNano; Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center at the University of Aarhus and Aalborg University
|
Flemming
Besenbacher
Director, iNANO (Denmark) |
The interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) was founded in January 2002 at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. The center was established through a collaboration of research groups at the Institute of Physics and Astronomy, Department of Chemistry, Department of Molecular Biology, and Institute for Biological Sciences. Already from the start there was established close links to several associated research groups at the Department of Health Sciences, Aarhus University, and from 2003 iNANO also includes a number of research groups at the Faculty of Science at Aalborg University.
