EuroNanoForum 2011 will cover nanotechnology developments in:

  • ENERGY and ENVIRONMENT: nanotechnologies for water, food, solar, clean air, transport and construction
  • HEALTH: diagnostics, drug delivery and regenerative medicine
  • MANUFACTURING: nanomanufacturing, nanomaterial synthesis and applications, nanoelectronics and nanophotonics, bionanotechnology
  • INDUSTRIAL SAFETY: industrial safety and safety research
  • COMMERCIALISATION, including technology transfer, IP, and open innovation

Conference presentations will address scientific, industrial and societal aspects:

  • Science and technology, highlighting world-class research
  • Innovation and business, identifying nanotechnology opportunities and barriers throughout the value chain
  • Society, taking a holistic approach to address societal benefits and risks

The content of the conference is guided by an International Advisory Committee.
The next meeting of this committee takes place on 22nd February and
will select speakers from the abstracts that have been submitted. The
event programme will then be published on the 1st March 2011.

Poster Award will be given to the best posters presented by young researchers (up to five years after the end of the PhD, and maximum 35 years old). The authors of the selected best posters will be invited to participate at the conference.

 

Registration

Registration fees:

  • Regular registration fee: 240 EUR
  • Early registration fee (before 15 April 2011): 192 EUR
  • Student entrance fee: 100 EUR

Registration fees cover participation at the conference and accompanying events on 30-31 May 2011.  Participation at the workshops and the matchmaking on 1 June 2011 is free of charge, however, due to security reasons, registration is mandatory.

Event ticket includes access to the conference on all three days, lunch, refreshments, evening events and access to the matchmaking programme.
