Nanotech Europe 2009 was a success!

The event, which took place in the TU Berlin from Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th September, attracted more than 700 participants from 50 countries. The exhibition was sold-out.

Best Poster awards

Attendees were asked to vote for the best poster at Nanotech Europe 2009.

1st Best Poster award went to Meghadri Sri Harsha and Rohit Radhakrishnan, for a poster titled ‘Cancer crusade-use of nano-targetted delivery of CaMK II in specific lung epithelial cells of the lung’. This poster gives a brief hypothesis on cancer cure using fullerene C60 or Colloidal Gold nano-particles for targeting CamK II towards cancer cells. Both Sri Harsha and Radhakrishnan are from the Rajalakshmi Engineering College in India. Read abstract here »

2nd Best Poster award went to Mortaza Mozaffari and M Zahraee, for a poster titled ‘The effect of sintering temperature on nonlinearity coefficient of ZnO-Bi2O3 nanocomposites’. Both Mortaza Mozaffari and M Zahraee are from the University of Isfahan in Iran. Read abstract here »

3rd Best Poster award went to Michail Dolomatov, for a poster titled ‘Simple definition methods of electron structures of materials and molecules for nanoelectronics’. Michail Dolomatov is Professor at the Institute of Social Technology in Russia. Read abstract here »
